Which Pokemon would be your partner theme~

Age: Sixteen
You have a free day with your partner Pokemon! Do you train and battle? Go explore? Or just take it with you when you run errands? Well, it wouldn't exactly be "free" if I have to run errands, right? I think I would go around exploring with my partner Pokemon, and of course, an integral part of exploration in Pokemon would be battling and training. Since it's a free day, I think the training shouldn't be too hectic (ending earlier than usual) and we'd spend some time just playing. We could possibly go on walks together, strengthen our bonds with each other and the sort. My partner Pokemon would be able to take a slight break, before resuming our quest of training and trying to be the best that we can possibly be.
Is there ONE Pokemon (and its related evolutions) you'd like to avoid getting? For example, you can say you'd prefer not getting Magikarp, and we won't vote you as either Magikarp or Gyarados UNLESS you say you're okay with Gyarados. Does that make sense? :) Nah. It would be hilarious if I got Magikarp though. I always store it in the PC in my games anyway.
