Ah, this was a bit hard. I could see elements of certain characters fitting rather well for you at times: early!games Chris (though his later evolution as a character doesn't fit quite as well), Barry (as he's one of the nicer characters in the cast), Leon (though more RE2!Leon), and Steve (as he does have a fun-loving side to his character, though his more cynical outlook on a lot of things has me leaning slightly away from him). I could see A LOT of Piers from what I do know of him, but since I haven't played RE6 yet...I'm hesitant to vote him here. The only other character that I really could see quite a bit of in your application is Carlos...and since I'm more familiar with his character, I am leaning towards him! :D
From how you described your personality, I could see you and Carlos getting along rather well. Carlos is overall generally a nice person and very warm-hearted...and he does have a sense of humor too, and he likes having conversations with others if they're in the mood to talk as well. Even if someone disagrees with him, he can be pretty civil with them (his first interactions with Jill kind of showcase this, as she wasn't really trusting of him due to his Umbrella connections until she found out that him and his unit didn't really know about the darker side of the company at all and were just trying to help out the city...but he always tried being helpful and civil towards her despite how dismissive she was with him at times). He's also very much sincere with compliments and praise too!
Carlos isn't really dirty, isn't too shy, is never disrespectful of others, and isn't really self-centered at all...so he doesn't fall into any of the traits you mentioned as turn-offs in a prospective partner either. He's more extroverted than introverted; he's more idealistic in his hopes for the best despite the situation he finds himself in; is more optimistic (though not overly so given how he does have some realistic viewpoints given his past...he just tends to be slightly more optimistic than most others in the series! Although that really doesn't take much, orz. :D); is a second-in-command type of character (he follows orders fine especially if he agrees with them, but is very capable of stepping up to a leadership role when he has to do so); he's smart when it comes to who to trust (the only real exception being Nicholai Ginovaef...but the man was REALLY good at fooling everyone in Carlos' unit about what he was really doing, so I don't really think that's a reflection of Carlos himself so much as it is on Nicholai being a really capable liar) but isn't overly cynical; likes being around those he considers friends but can be fine on his own; can be slightly dorky at times; wants to be happy and carefree...but is more than capable of being careful and serious when it comes to important decisions; and Carlos is confident without being overly-so too.
Your ideal date seems like a perfect fit for what I imagine Carlos would like too, and if he cared about someone that way...I think he'd be more than willing to make the first step. "Of course there has to be a romantic and friendly connection, but I say that you have to be able to talk with someone to really make a relationship work. So I guess communication comes in second to that connection :D" is something I could picture Carlos saying too. Haha, for some reason...I could picture him liking the idea of being spoiled on his birthday too! :D I think he'd appreciate your need for alone and together time too, and he'd definitely would be sure to find a way for you to be able to get in touch with him if you guys had to separated for awhile also. ♥
