McCain - Permanent Disability?

McCain receives 100% disability (since 1980) which means he is physically unable to work. I guess being a Congressman is not work, for which he gets paid $162,000. Oh yeah, and he gets Social Security $23,157, which he called "a disgrace".
Meanwhile our soldiers can't get the physical and mental health services they need. People are splitting pills because their Social Security payments won't cover their cost and food. And on top of it he can't be bothered to show up for committee meetings on Afghanistan while disparaging Obama for the same thing (Obama has gone to 1 meeting and he's not on the committee, McCain 0)!
Why isn't the media taking this guy to task for this?
