Oops, somehow they forgot to mention the whole "I pledged to take public funds and used that to secure loans and get on State ballots without having to get the required signatures" thing.
There's a great "editorial/sales" job on McCain's health "plan" as well. http://money.cnn.com/2008/03/10/news/economy/tully_healthcare.fortune/index.htm Looks like more corporate welfare to me. I can guarantee that if we all start having to pick our own health care we're all screwed. Look at what a great thing deregulation of the mortgage industry has been! I'm starting to think that "personal responsibility" == "more ways to profit for companies" The funniest thing about it is that stuff like this is what's going to ruin one of the assets of the American worker, high productivity. I spend way too many hours concerned and working on insurance issues, and I'm healthy. Can you imagine what it will be like when you discover that the plan you purchased isn't worth the paper it's written on, and that you can't go to your company to put some leverage on the insurance company? No "tax credit" is going to help you then.
