Emily's back. In fact, she's been back for a while. Despite the fact that I just got back from dress rehearsal for the play and as with all dress rehearsals, it didn't feel ready, a burden has been lifted. The play is definitely going to be hilarious, though mostly not because of yours truly; everyone come and watch!
The campus has been unusually misty in the mornings, however, and not in a delicate, ethereal way. I continue to dream of strange things, mostly while asleep, though today I fell prey to what has been gripping others and gripped Emily and I weeks ago. For better or for worse, it was nothing intense, but it lasted past the point of any comfort. I found an antique-like pocketwatch in my jeans, and I could pick it up, handle it, wind it, read it, for at least ten minutes before it vanished from existence. Why is nothing solid? If I touch my own arm at the wrong time of day, would my hand pass through?
