Post op report
I survived a laser attack!! WOOT!!
So, first things first, all said and done, it was worth it. I can now see as well or better than I used to be able to. And no more glasses!!! Huzzah!
That said, the lasik procedure was torture that I paid someone to do to me. Somehow it makes me think of what it must like to be abducted and probed..... *shudder*
And for those of you who have had fillings, you know that smell of burning tooth when they drill? The laser smells like that too. Fortunately it only took 21 seconds on one eye and 24 seconds on the other.
There's more descriptive goodness if you're really really interested.
In the mean time I have a medley of eye drops to take regulary.
