So at some point I left Richmond, since the lease on my apartment was up. At some point I came back for job training, which the school has be gracious enough to provide me with (for a fee, of course). Frankly days tend to blur together due to monotony.

Anyway, job training is kind of dull. It's been every day this week from 10 to 6, but because of work I've never been able to stay the whole time, and some days I've missed entirely. The very act of working leaves me unprepared to work. Is that irony? There's a test sometime today, but I do not think I will do too bad. Of course, I'll be taking it after a 9 hour overnight shift and however long training is. On the other hand, if I fail and get a temporary suspension it will make planning my week easier.

Also sometime today I'll be moving in with Lauren. Should be fun, especially after living with a male last semester.

Funniest and most overlooked part of The Onion? The political cartoons. Maybe they're a bit too satirical for most, but I love them being a soapbox for the "artist's" hyperbolic rambling.

Obama's speech in Germany? Pretty amazing. I'm also amazed by the fact that a politician, not even our president, could give a speech in another country in a language not native to that country, and draw over 200,000 people. I don't see that happening in America. (the pope does not count)

So yeah. Life's gotten pretty standard. Too standard, maybe. Whatever. Being chucked out into the "real world" in six months should change things up a bit. Possibly frighteningly so. Should be fun.
