like whoa

I had an excellent weekend after a grouchy, crabby week. Friday I had a yummy, happy, Chinese food dinner with Mom. Then I made my mommy cry by calling her from the road and telling her that I love her. Go figure. I guess it's a mother thing. Later that night I was back to being a complete bitch, complete with whining, ranting, and being a horrible person in general. Luckily, Chuckles has an endless amount of patience when it comes to me and answered my meanness with kisses and cuddles, thus taming the shrew. Sometimes I really wonder why people put up with me when I am being completely irrational--especially when at the time I know I am being irrational and bitchy and can do nothing about it. Friday night we went to Rock-a-Bowl in Inkster, but they LIED! There was very little rock the entire night. It was mainly the top 40, booty "music" shit that is played everywhere else. In spite of this, we had a wonderful time. I kicked Chuckles' ass the first two games. I scored a 103 and a 109--really high for me. I usually am ecstatic if I break 70. By the third game my wrist felt like it was going to break off so we started goofing around. I still managed to bowl a 70-something, but he beat me with a 108.
Saturday we were planning to go see Alice Cooper, but when we looked up the time it turned out he was playing Sunday. So we went to breakfast at IHOP with his sister. The food kinda sucked, but it was fun. After that we napped and then spent the rest of the evening playing Uno Attacks as a drinking game with his family and sappy friend. I got quite tipsy and danced a little. It was a nice, laid-back evening. His has got to be one most relaxed, fun families I have ever known. We watched Blue COllar comedy tour until sleepytime. Sunday we were woken up by a phone call telling us to come down to breakfast. I haven't seen Spam in a long time. His siblings seemed a little revolted. I thought it was great. After food we wasted time and eventually left for the State Fair. We looked at a little poultry, walked around a bit, and then went in to get seats for Alice Cooper. The National Grilled Cheese Eating Contest was interesting. I think eating 20 grilled cheese sandwiches was a little excessive, but what do I know, he won major money. I now have a keychain that has a picture of a grilled cheese sandwich that supposedly looks like the Virgin Mary. I say that it looks like an old-fashioned hooker with a cigarette in her mouth. The opening band could have sucked an elephant through a coffee straw. Alice Cooper was great. I spent most of the show dancing on a chair so I could see. Not that many people were dancing, but tons were singing along. I loved the guillotine. I'm thinking about getting a top hat and a cane for part of a Halloween costume. After the show and the encore we went and rode some fun twirly rides that tickled my tummy in an orgasmic, giggly way. After that it was an elephant ear and home. I love the fair.
