new bands, suzies bday, you know...
wow. i just heard an incredibly great band called bloc party. theyre from the UK. their cd debuts in the US this tuesday and i think im def gonna have to go get it if i can find somewhere to get it from. ill prolly have to go to the virgin megastore near downtown dallas. ive been listening to their song "banquet" over and over for a while now bc its effing great. check them out at www.myspace.com/blocparty or at www.blocparty.com.
also finally heard a band ive been wanting to hear for a while now, juliette and the licks. its the actress juliette lewis's band. and i actually like them quite a bit. their cd hasnt come out yet either but take a peek at www.myspace.com/julietteandthelicks or at www.julietteandthelicks.com.
so suzies bday is on monday... but thats not the inportant thing about that day. the important thing is that sno cone stands open. lol. i luv your dad suzie :) monday will suck other than that bc i have a big calc test. boo. oh, and i have a chem quiz. oh, and an accounting test. oh and then a calc quiz on tues. *cries*
oh well, at least ive found 2 badass bands.
at least i know that i failed history bc our midterm test grade wasnt included in our midterm grade. yay! got an 80 on the test. not too bad but i could definitely do better.
