Dear Anonymous Friend,
There's a song that says, "Secretly you're so amused that nobody understands you."
Somehow I think this applies to you, and I say this out of affection. And I do think I'm like this too so don't take it as a negative remark. I think it's normal to feel this way.
You've told the world about the sorta-ADHD/inability to move on from a failed love affair/wannabe Asperger syndrome/non-conformist identity thing you have. I used to flimsily hide my cuts, or call people before, during or after botched suicide attempts. It's these things that make us different that matter to us, and sometimes it does not feel like this uniqueness exists when nobody else is aware of it.
Deny it if you must, but we humans are social people, and we need others to validate our existence. The question is, how much do we need this validation?
But since I am your friend and I love you, I will give you some of the validation you need, by telling you you're weird and by pretending not to understand you, even if I do. Oh, I do.
xoxo
