Warnings: None. Maybe just Bamboo Leaf Rhapsody spoilers.
Dream effects: The dream is shrouded in darkness. Although Kyon and middle school!Haruhi can't see each other, the viewer can see the both of them clearly.
Filter: Another attempted filter from Haruhi. Let's see how that goes.
Note: This is no longer backdated. Carry on! /o/

What the hell--HARUHI!
Reply
'She saw my dream.'
[Throws the covers off himself, pushing himself the bed.]
'Damn it! I thought I filtered it from her...'
Reply
Haruhi, calm down. There's a logical explanation for this.
'I just need to figure out what it is first.'
Reply
... Oh yeah? Then you'd better start explaining it, because this doesn't make any sense!

'I know already that Koizumi and even Nagato told me that Haruhi won't believe me if I told her the truth. But... it's worth one more shoot. Even though this does sound a little far fetched.'
Something happened during Tanabata, Haruhi...
Reply
Yeah? What was it?
Reply
'Well, here goes nothing.'
Nagato and Asahina-san left messages for me before everyone went home that day. Nagato's was gibberish ('Before she told me what it meant, that is.') while Asahina-san told me I needed to stay behind...
[There was no point turning back. The truth behind what happened during that fateful day came spilling out. Mikuru bringing Kyon 3 years into the past, him helping a younger Haruhi writing out her message on the field, Nagato's part in bring the intrepid pair back into the present. He knows it sounded crazy and well, out of this world. But at this point, knowing this girl for almost six months and then ending up in Somarium, the word "impossible" has become a passing fancy.]
I know it sounds really "out there" but that's what happened.
Reply
... That's it? That's really what happened?
Reply
Yeah. That's the whole, entire truth.
[Honestly, he had no idea how Haruhi will take this. He had told her the honest to goodness truth before and she shot him down pretty hard. What would make this time so different? As much as Kyon is a skeptic by nature, he can't deny the natural curiosity that strikes him from time to time.]
Reply
That's ridiculous.
Reply
[He yawns, running a hand through his bedhead.]
Oh, believe me. You're not the only who thinks it sounds ridiculous.
[Swings his legs over so that he's sitting on the edge of the bed now.]
But it's true and it really happened. I helped you write your message, Haruhi.

It's not like this stuff is real, though, right? This is just... a dream within a dream.
[She sighs, resting her head against the door frame.]
There's no way I'd forget something like that. It was only a few years ago!
