so many reasons for the happy and the sad
Concert was hot. Found a great new band, The Safes, and I have that happy tingley feeling I get from good new music. We talked to the bassist a bunch afterwards, and I found out they're gonna be playing in Green Bay about 5 days before I go back to Wisconson. Fuckers. I think the best part was running into him at the sex shop on Belmont afterwards, though. Apparently the stars are jealous of my eyes ;).
Now the sad - apparently they're ripping down the Bottom Lounge. I had no fucking clue. I go to Wisconsin for 9 months, and I come back and the Fireside's gone, and now Bottom Lounge. To build a fucking CTA station, no less. Has anyone else heard about this?
I don't know if I can make it through 6 more days of work. As much as I like my coworkers, I really don't give a shit about contracting. I just want to go back to school.
The show tonight got me thinking about the radio station, and I got all excited for my show next year, when I realized I don't even know if we got a new mixing board. My heart will be even more broken if WLFM is no more.
My brain's a little too fried to say much else.
