So life seems to be a little more stable. Views on life changes when you aren't wide awake at three in the morning, no longer PMSing, and you actually get a little sleep. And it helps to realize that everyone has moments of irrationality with really bad days, and its ok to be occasionally really emotional and its ok to rely on friends. Especially when one sees you are having a bad time and invites you out to dinner and helps put life back into perspective (Liz, what would I do without you?) It also helps to get away from the other people in my department since they will be stressed out the same times as me, ie. next week with three exams. On the same note I love all the people who make me laugh/smile. I really appreciate having them in my life (again what would I do without you, Liz?)
Umm.. so I have been in class approximately a month. My best class right now is Into to Surgery, where we are learning the basic approach to surgery. Such as scrubbing in, aseptic technique, and how to work with the instruments and sutures. It's hard because it isn't something you can just learn, you have to practice. Plus all of us knows that in the next couple of weeks we'll be cutting into living breathing animals so we're kinda scared. I have only had only one exam so far and as far as I know it was ok (haven't gotten it back yet). And this semester we have 21 exams total, with three this next week. So it will be a tough week ahead, but another thing I'm really thankful for is my study buddies at school. They really have helped me make it this far.
Summary: Life is good, stressful but good.
