Consider this all me thinking out loud:
So, my new dilemma (which I would love any advice or input on). I signed up a few months ago for a RAVS trip (Rural Area Vet Service) knowing full well that the trip was full and I would be waiting listed. Well today I got an email saying that there are spaces open. So my dilemma: Do I go? I would love to I would probably have a good time and learn alot. It's a week in May right after finals so I wouldn't miss class or much work wherever I get a job or Brenda's wedding. What's holding me back is the fact that we camp out (housing is iffy since we are in a poverty area- a Native American Reservation), we have to provide transportation, sleeping bag, a bunch of camping type supplies, and its recommended we bring food like power bars since there is no guarantee for meals. I also need to learn to do surgery before we go. It sounds like a great experience but I know other students who had a terrible trip when they went. I should do it, it would be an amazing experience. However it would definetly take me out of my comfort zone, and I'm already scared. But ( I failed to mention earlier it's in Washington state) Washington came on my list above four times. Is that some kind of sign? hmmm... something to think about.
