A thing that I hate
I really hate when you get a letter or speak to someone on the phone and they keep repeating your name. Like 'Dear Gwynneth, Sorry we made a bad, Gwynneth. Gwynneth, we promise this won't happen again. Thanks for your patience Gwynneth. The end'.
I had a tanty at someone on the phone once because I was calling for complainy purposes, and she did it so much that it was really interfering with the flow of the conversation - so I asked her to stop and it was so ingrained that she kept it up. She ended up doing the 'I'm sorry, you're being abusive, goodbye' thing at me, and I called back and asked her supervisor to listen to the call and the supervisor said something to the effect of 'yeah, that was nuts, and you weren't abusive, she's totally getting some training.'
