Oh thank goodness!
Yesterday, I was offered a contract for my job for next year. I figured they would hire me back when the head of special ed in my building misunderstood what I had said about going back to NY (just for the summer) and nearly had a heart attack back in April! :-) It's still nice to be physically holding the contract. Very reminiscent of when I got the job last year back in July.
Today, I just finished my last progress report like 4 minutes ago. After 3 weeks of last-minute data collecting, analyzing, and typing, I'm DONE. With this coming Monday as the last day of special ed services, I'm almost sad to see that the year's already up. It feels like it went by quickly, but looking back on it, it also feels like it crawled on forever.
...Very reminiscent of how I felt about college and grad school...
