Im Back Baby!
Apparently it has been 58 weeks since I last posted on Livejournal, so I think a quick update is in order:
The Stu who I mentioned in my last post, we are now living together. The job I had just got, I still work at, full time. I still dont have a myspace or facebook. So now we're pretty much up to speed.
I am currently in RADelaide and tonight is opening night of the fringe festival which is very exciting. I am so lucky that I have been billited by the nicest rollergirl ever in a cute street close to town. I am currently awaiting Sabs' call as she is meant to touch down this morning.
Yesterday I went for a little wander around town by myself, did some shopping and got sunburnt. I found a really neat cafe that is also a Fringe venue just at the end of the street I am staying on and spent the morning there drinking coffee and reading the local newspaper. On the 25 minute walk into town I passed an olive grove with a white stallion in it. It is very dry and has the essence of a large country town, like a fun version of Canberra, the difference being that in Adelaide there are cool places to hang out and people milling around. I watched the Adelaidies (ARDL) train last night. I was very impressed with how far they'd all progressed, and in particular with their sense of team comraderie and fun.
