Okay hi guys

So instead of doing my homework last night I translated a little part of the end of DRRRx6 that was relevant to my interests (ie: OT3) and I am sharing.

On a street beside Raira 2nd Ground

“Hey, Rocchi, are your wounds okay?”
“Oh, I’m totally fine. Thanks to your caressing, Non, they’re seriously already healed.”
“You liar. Jeez, Rocchi, tomorrow Kiyopu and them should just get mad at you again.”
“I wonder if you and the others will forgive me if I kiss you.”
“I think you should die.”
A man and a woman continued their flirting as they walked towards the station on a small street.
Chikage decided to let Toramaru’s pride return. It seemed that that some got the tables turned on them at the abandoned factory, but they weren’t too badly hurt by it, and he told Kadota that they’d just retreat now for today.
The pair hadn’t thought they had been in a risky atmosphere, but-

From behind came a voice that still sounded young.

“P-Please wait!”
“Hm…?”
Chikage and Non turned around to see a boy covered in cuts and out of breath standing in the middle of the road.
“Hey, what’s wrong, kid? You on your way home from a fight?”
Just by looking at his face, Chikage couldn’t tell if he was in middle school or high school. Not knowing what the kid’s objective was, he stopped walking and turned to face the boy fully.
On the other hand, though his face was half paled, the boy looked straight at Chikage with clear determination and slowly opened his mouth.

“…I …will take responsibility.”

“Huh? For what?”
Mikado tried to continue in regards to the doubting Toramaru leader, but-
“Oh, Rocchi! This is the kid I just told you about! He’s a Dollars member but he tried to save me!”
“...!”
At the girl called Non’s words, Mikado instinctively closed his mouth.
“I see… What, you want to take responsibility for not being able to protect Non? That’s got nothing to do with anything. Actually, I should at least thank you.”
“N-No… That’s not… That’s not it!”
Mikado put strength into the bottom of his heart, and once again opened his mouth with his resolve.
“I’m… I am the creator of the Dollars.”
“…What?”
“I know what… those Dollars members did to you… The cause of all this fighting is me! So… I don’t care what you do to me here. Just… please don’t cause any more trouble for Ikebukuro! Please…!”
Mikado thought that even if he was killed, there was nothing he could do about it.
Prepared for such a thing, he went to kneel on the ground, but-
Chikage took a hold of Mikado’s slumped hands.
“Cut that out, a man shouldn’t get on his knees like that so easily. Especially not in front of my girlfriend, or rather any girl.”
“…B-But-“
“And being begged for forgiveness on the roadside while I’ve got a girl around and stuff makes me look stupid, yeah? …And who’s gonna believe that the guy who calls himself ‘boku’ is the Dollars Leader in the first place?”
“...”
All his words were true, and they relentlessly picked at Mikado’s heart.
Chikage gave a small smile at that silent Mikado staring straight ahead, and spoke.
“But I don’t think you’re lying.”
“S-So-“
“But I’m not just gonna go ahead and believe you.”
“Ah…”
“The guy who I think made the Dollars… is a scummy bastard who doesn’t go anywhere himself and just lets his team grow and beat each other up… and enjoys it like a game.”
Not fully understanding his words, Mikado fell silent again. However, being called “a scummy bastard who enjoys it like a game”-there most likely was a nature like that inside of him and that shocked him.
Chikage placed a hand on Mikado’s shoulder and slowly… began to tell him something.
“An honest-looking guy like you could in no way be the Dollars head.”
“…!”
“If you really were the one that started the Dollars… then I have to warn you. Get away from the Dollars immediately. For a pure guy like you, it’s too heavy a burden.”
“Wha…”
“You, you look like an everyday guy. Being able to live respectably is so much nicer to guys like me… Guys like you shouldn’t try to come over to this side on purpose.”
Chikage might not have realized it, but even if he did he still dared to speak.
To Mikado, those words denied everything that defined him.
Chikage said one last thing to the silent boy before leaving.
“If that doesn’t do it for you, then come out to Saitama. If one on one is… Oh, when I’m not with my girls, then I’ll see you any time. Anyway, I don’t really like beating up on nonresistant guys.”

Mikado watched them disappear into the distance, but in the end he didn’t respond to those last words.
He couldn’t respond.
That’s because he didn’t understand the feeling welling up within himself.
He knew that it was “regret,” but was afraid to accept that, and without saying a word he simply continued to look to the sky.
Objectively, the time he was silent for was barely even a minute.
However, to Mikado that time felt as though it was a few hours, no-a few days, a few months compressed.
When he notices, his life has changed.
To understand this, all that was needed was density of resolving himself in those few seconds.
- No… I wasn’t afraid of being left behind as the Dollars changed.
- I was afraid of being left behind by this city.
Mikado reached the end of the street and on a nearby telephone pole he rested his arm, silently burying his head in it.
- But… I was completely wrong.
Before confronting Chikage, he checked the newest Dollars message.
What it said was that at the location of the fight, Awakusu-kai members appeared and began to forcibly settle the situation.
The people of the organization probably received information and came to lightly break it up before any trouble rose in their own place. That in itself seemed like they were driving away mosquitoes.
In the end, the trouble they got into was the same thing as the everyday happenings in the deeper, adult world of the Awakusu-kai.
At least, that is what Mikado thought.
He shouldn’t have.
- Being left behind by the city was a delusion.

- I… couldn’t even keep up with the unexpected in this city from the start.

And so, standing there, the boy simply continued to shed tears.
Biting his lip, and holding back his sobs and everything within his throat-
As if he was drinking in his own sadness within himself,
The boy simply continued to cry within the city called Ikebukuro.

And there was only one who was looking on to that boy.
- Mikado…
As he clenched his fist, another boy looked over the back of that boy.
Another boy about the same age as Mikado-Kida Masaomi.
The fact that he was here in the same area was half inevitability, half coincidence.
In order to save Mikado from the trouble he was getting into, he returned to Ikebukuro.
Through his acquaintances he was able to find out what was going on with the Dollars, and he quickly headed to Raira’s second ground.
And just as he was making his way there, he saw Mikado confronting Chikage.
He hid behind one of the walls on the street and peeked at Mikado, but-
After hearing Mikado’s “resolve” and the following exchange, conversely he wasn’t able to reveal himself.
Watching Mikado rest silently against the telephone pole, he was able to tell that he was crying.
That’s because he could feel it was the same sadness he experienced when he was the leader of the Yellow Scarves.
And that is why he couldn’t show himself.
If he called out to Mikado here, he knew it would just pressure him more.

Most likely, the very ones Mikado didn’t want to be seen by right now were himself and Sonohara Anri.
Before if he saw Mikado like this, he’d go straight out there and offer him words of comfort. He thought that was something only he himself could do.
But in the end, he wasn’t able to show himself to Mikado.
He had no idea what he could say to Mikado now since he ran away.
If he were to show himself and just comfort him, Mikado would probably just get hurt more deeply.
- …
- Mikado’s "home" isn’t me anymore.
- It’s Sonohara-san and Raira Academy.
Masaomi came with the one decision to reunite with his best friend, but-
He threw that decision away and turned his back to Mikado.
- What I can do is after he’s back on his feet… is just, talk… with him…
- Dammit, no. That’s not it.
- I just want to… With him and Anri… Like we used to…
- …Dammit. I… Why am I…

He recalled the sadness that he himself had felt in his past-
And when he knew it, he too was shedding tears.

That is everything that happened in this place.
Masaomi was never able to reunite with Mikado.

Surely had he shown himself at that time, Mikado’s heart would have been hurt even more deeply. Most likely another gap would have been made in their friendship.
However-thinking about what will happen next, just maybe, even if he hurt Mikado, even if Mikado lost all his self-respect, Masaomi probably should have said something.

When Masaomi eventually realizes this-
Is a story for a bit later.
