so i flew jetBlue down from new york to new orleans, and i can see why people LOVE this fucking airline! the planes are all new and clean, the flight attendants are really nice, the seats are soft leather (apologies to animal rights folks), and everyone has a little TV to watch with like 42 channels! then i connected in new orleans to a southwest flight and it felt like flying in a giant dumpster the quality as so different. i wish i could fly jetBlue everywhere!
which reminds me of a funny story. i was on a northwest airlines flight from tokyo to seoul and i kept trying to raise the volume on my headset. so, i kept mashing down what i thought was the volume button but in fact it was the flight attendant call button. and every time you push the button it makes a little "ding" sound. so as im jamming away to whatever was on the radio, you just hear "ding, ding, ding, ding, ding, ding" through the cabin. i couldnt hear it, of course, because of the headsets! then an angry and irritated flight attendant came over and asked me what i wanted so urgently and i was like, "huh? what? you talking to me? i dont want anything," to which she grumbled something about "don't tell me you've been pushing that button but dont want anything . . ." hahaha!
