tomorrow, monday, will be my last day of academic class ever (or, at least for the foreseeable future). that is a really, really weird moment. almost life-changing. it certifies that you are done with the easy-street life of school and now you're off to the real world (which i am, guh). then comes finals, graduation, bar review, the bar exam, and then work! just plain wonky. at least i'll get to spend some time in ithaca helping amie get settled at cornell, and maybe we'll take a little jaunt to canada. and there's also a trip to las vegas on the horizon since my parents will be helping my sister move from poughkeepsie to los angeles for her new job. i mean, if you're going to drive cross-country you might as well stop in las vegas which is a fucking bad-ass city in my opinion (to visit, not to live).

but in the meantime, im slaving away at editing the journal (editing really sucks because you can go over something a hundred times and still find something that is fucked up) and preparing for finals.

this past weekend amie and i went to houston to visit my half-brother who has come in to town from korea. it was a purty darn cool weekend in my opinion - we went to the astros game (roger clemens v. greg maddux!), looked at electronics, electronics, and more electronics, and played some video games. i also bought a new PS2 slim (which are totally awesome looking!), though i left it at my parents' house for my brother to use since he tells me he is bored all day. so i've finally accumulated the triparate of video games - the XBOX, Gamecube, and PS2. my half-bro is like the older brother i never had (well, i mean, i always had him as a brother, except that he was raised in korea and i was raised in texas). i guess that makes him a fob here in the states. but in korea im just a yankee. funny how those things work out.

so, no more classes means i can study until 4am! yes!!!
