Heh, I was actually thinking of writing you an email about this, but I resisted because I knew if I told you that BftC2 was bad, you'd rush out and buy it all the faster. It's not fun bad though. It's just...argh. 1) It's really choppy, like RIP was. I kept going "wait, what?", just because there was no flow at all.
Aside from a nice moment with shirtless Dick and Alfred being awesome (they're 2/2 so far there), there's nothing to redeem this comic from the crap I will rant about below.
SPOILERS AHEAD
2) Jason does not sound or act like Jason. Jason should not say things like "it seemed as if the devil himself constructed this city as his personal conduit". Jason should not shoot/stab other heroes. IT IS A WRONGNESS. However, I read a comic review that indicated that this might be someone just pretending to be Jason. Which would make a little more sense, while being really fucking confusing. Maybe Azreal? But then the crowbar thing wouldn't be as deliciously fucked. Although why would Jason even own a crowbar? Oh my brain

Re:7 - Ha, ok, that's obviously not as important as the possiblydead!Tim or the possible Jason character assassination. But that panel still messed with me. I read it, turned the page, and was like "Wait...that...that can't be right..." and reread it like 20 time to try and figure out why there was a dead bird falling from Penguin's hand. I'm still confused about it. Penguin likes birdies!
I'ma email you the pages from #2,4,7 so that you don't have to be at the comic shop when it opens. Also the DC Nation page that tells us there'll be a Red Robin series, which appears to have Tim and Jason working together to fight some ninjas. I can't decide how I feel about that in conjunction with the Dick/Damien Batman/Robin team. I feel like after 2 weeks they'd all throw up their hands and say "You know what? Fuck this. We're switching partners. Tim, you're with Dick. Damien, you're with Jason. Let's just agree not to get in each other's way and this city will be shiny in no time." Also, how does that fit with Tim's New Robin that he was so
