Week One
Introductions and expectations. Students will choose their topics.
Week Two
Using your voice effectively when speaking.
Week Three
How to outline a speech.
Week Four
Public speaking scenarios everyone should prepare for.
Week Five
Students will present rough, short version of their final speeches in small groups for peer review.
Week Six
Students will have free time to revise their final speeches, with time to speak to Miss Upland about suggestions and help.
Final Exam
Students' final version of their speeches are to be presented, and will write a short piece about the most valuable information they gained from the course.
