I can understand why you would want to... and even I'd like to see him get a good thrashing but I cannot see the reasoning in killing the Joker. I mean, this is our chance to administer justice in the right way and out first order of business is going to be the "Let's kill him!" tactic? Maybe I'm by myself on this but I don't want anyone to die and I cannot imagine the reasoning to putting anyone to death. To punish them for their crimes? Yes I see that, of course, but to kill them? I don't see the humanity in that... or what gives us the right to do that- no matter who it is who stands to trial. Today the Joker but what about tomorrow? Will we kill everyone we don't like? Bring the already small population of this place back to nothing?
Maybe I stand alone, but I stand on the belief that everyone deserves a just and honest trial... and if they are convicted, let them be punished, but give them a second chance... That's what I stand on.
Don't know.... just been thinking about it alot I suppose.
