um anyway, HI! i never update and livejournal i have no excuse! my cat died today, i'm not really that sad about it and i am worried that i will suddenly get overcome with grief and start crying at a really inappropriate time, like tomorrow, when i have a spanish test... which i haven't really studied for. oh man. anyway um R.I.P boxmin :(:(:(
he may not have been the best cat, but he was my first kitty and he had a very nice, glossy coat. i hope he is enjoying a nice big house up in the sky where he can pee behind doors and dribble all over furniture.
APART FROM THAT i'm starting to really hate university. well, i don't hate it but it's just so HO HUM and i don't walk away from lectures feeling blown away or anything. OH GURL WAT AM I TO DOOOOOooOOoooOoOoO~~~
i turn 20 in a week, 1 week left of being a teenager. i'm pretty sure i've wasted my teen years, but hey what can you do! ~~~If I cOuLd tUrN bAcK tiIiIiIiiiiiMeeeE~ okay apparently these are the 10 things everybody must do before turning 20?!?1 ummmmmmm
10. Graduate from high school. You can do it! Some days it sucks to sit through that physics lecture or complete the gym requirement, but you know the real world is tough out there without that diploma.
9. Learn how to cook. Eating everything out of a paper bag can really get tired. Ask the person whose cooking you love the most to give you some tips.
8. Drive a car - legally. You might not own a car by the time you are 20, but taking driving lessons and getting that license is a big step to feeling independent.
7. Find an activity or hobby you enjoy. Maybe you already love sports or theater or quilting - that's great. If not, see if there's something you find interesting and start exploring.
6. Go to a city or country you've never visited. Adventure can come in lots of ways and seeing how people live somewhere else is a great eye-opener.
5. Meet somebody famous. It's fun having one of those "the time I met____" stories to tell. Maybe it's your favorite local DJ or the movie star who grew up in your neighborhood.
4. Learn how to bargain shop. It's good to learn early how to find the best deal around and how to be creative with what you can afford.
3. Learn at least one language you haven't grown up speaking. Think about #6 and figure out where you'd like to travel to; it might help you pick a good language to learn.
2. Volunteer for a worthy cause. There are so many organizations out there that need your talents to make positive change in the world. Find one that works on an issue that you are passionate about: anti-gang violence, the environment, animal rights, anti-racism, and more.
1. Make sure you've made one lifetime friend. This person is going to see you through the ups and downs that will come along throughout your life - and they will - and she'll remember all those goofy things you did as a teen, even the ones you wish she'd forget.
TO BE HONEST I HAVEN'T REALLY DONE ANY OF THOSE!!!!!!! okay it's like 50/50. oh jesus, well, i have 1 week to fix that!! right?!?!?!
