You're back! I was so thrilled to see this update.
Annie has a BAC chart? That's awesome, and so Annie, especially on New Year's Eve. And I was amused that Jeff would only fess up to being a little tipsy when Annie mentioned his weight. Hee.
I felt bad for Vaughn, but found myself chuckling over his predicament. That he would end up being related to one of his hacky-sack buddies, and one named Yngwie no less, just cracks me up.
Yngwie said 'Milady'! Good thing Jeff wasn't there. ;-)
Annie looks distraught now, so Vaughn asks squeamishly, "You haven't...do you have kids now?"
"No," says Jeff, at the same time Annie says "Not yet." Vaughn expects a tense look between the two, but they stand there in relative relaxation, still holding hands.I love this, that it's so natural between these two now and a question about children doesn't freak them out. A lovely moment ( ... )

I had a lot of trouble deciding what to do with my future!Vaughn. I have too much affection for him to make him totally miserable but I'm too steadfastly J/A to make him an absolute success. My conclusion: he got his hacky-sack dreams, but man did they come at a price, haha.
Glad you liked this one! I figured not every chapter has to have super-drama and angst. It's the little moments that make our ship on the actual show, right?

Sorry to hear that. Boy drama can be a drag. Though this new boy sounds promising. I hope the Community viewing goes well!
