It turns out that if you go downtown during daylight on a weekday you have to put quarters in those little machines next to the road where you park your car. Who knew?
I got a parking ticket yesterday when I was at the Paramount. I just completely forgot to put any money in the meter. And it would have been expired by the time I got back out, anyway. It's no big deal, because it's a $15 fine if I pay it within two weeks. At least they didn't tow my car.
