Aww, Barcelona
So, I´m currently in Barcelona for my 4th week and I guess I don´t really need to say that I´m having an amazing time and am going to be really fucking sad to leave this place and this lifestyle.
I didn´t think I would have any time to update this thing, but I got up fairly early today to come to the internet cafe to sign up for classes--thinking that I converted the Telebears times perfectly and that I´m a genius. But of course, OF COURSE, I forgot that telebears only works 7 am to midnight...and it´s 2 in the morning US time. It´s slightly annoying, and I know I´m going to check the classes later that I need and they´re going to be full. Because they just will be. But I´ll deal with it when I need to. It´s hard to deal with matters of consequence from my "normal" life.
I´m just probably the happiest I´ve been in a really long time. Barcelona is just so unbelievably beautiful,and while it´s super hot and nowhere in Spain has air conditioning, it just doesn´t matter anymore. I´ve been seeing some really amazing things and having experiences that I can´t imagine myself forgetting any time soon. I´m notorious for hating going to the beach in LA, but here, I´m the most relaxed I am all day when I´m at the beach. Classes in Spanish are going well also...even though it´s school and I just hate having to think when all I want to do is be on vacation.
This weekend we´re going to Figueres which is where Salvador Dali renovated a theatre to be as fucking insane as he is, and I´m quite excited about seeing it.
So, anyway, I´m alive, and really really well.
