Huh. Two day school week!
HOLY COSPLAY SCHNIKEY.
I may have finally found an anime character WITH MY HAIR! [Trust me, up until now, the only two-toned hair I've seen in anime was that guy from Papuwa Island, and even then it wouldn't have worked for me. Ooooh, Papuwa Island... *imagination sequence*]
He's from Majin Tantei Nogami Neuro, and he's the titular character, Neuro.
And he is AWESOME.

In other, sadder news, I finished Shadow of the Colossus. Made me a little teary, but you'll see no spoilers here. It just made me think very deeply about it's connection to ICO, which I may try my hand at next. [It took me just a couple minutes over 12 hours to complete the game, but I'm a slow gamer. Plus, I didn't do nearly as much exploring as you can-- there are still several giant fruit trees I intend to find and pillage.]
It makes me want to go make a bunch of icons now! XD And restart ICO, but that'll probably be in a while. For the moment, I'm a little OD'd on horns and shadows and bloom.
I would have posted the good news about that last night, but it was waaaaaay too late, and I've been busy all day making up homework and pillaging SparkNotes for information about A Farewell to Arms, by Earnest Hemmingway. [I should've been reading it for the past five days, and I haven't. If I had a copy, I wouldn't be worried, but of course I don't.]
I am, now, kind of inspired to tackle a SoC fanfiction. I've been pawing over the idea of starting a "lone hero + ride/steed/companion vs. sixteen colossi" set in present-day civilization, from a second-person viewpoint, but it seems pretty wild to me, even in the planning stages. It's definitely something I'm going to think about, though.
Other than that, I go back to school tomorrow. I had today off because of snow-- yes, it's absolutely amazing, hasn't happened in years-- but I start second semester tomorrow. I will admit to being pretty nervous, although definitely excited. I continue on with English II AP, and start French II, along with Art III and Chemistry. I like the sound of all my classes, I'm just worried about what lunch I'll be in, plus if I have any friends in any of my classes. I'm pretty lucky that I live in a small town, so I know practically everyone at school, but... I don't know, I've got butterflies about it no matter what.
