Well! It feels nice to have work to do again. French III Honors, is back with a vengeance, so I'm now back on that bandwagon of pain. [I asked you people to talk me out of it, but did you?! DID YOU?! NO!] But, really, it's all good. I'm having fun flipping through my big new dictionary and complaining about it to anybody who'll listen.
Journalism isn't any great shakes, so far. So many links are broken or missing, I'm hoping the guy that runs it will get his stuff together.
My other two classes, Art Appreciation and Contemporary Moral Problems start next week. I'm not expecting any problems from Moral Problems, but I'm a bit nervous about Art Appreciation. I need to cut back the time I spend agonizing over French, and I should do better.
Also! I know what I'm going to do for my next project in art, which will mark the second of my concentration pieces... it's nice, knowing exactly how and what I'm going to do, as well as having so many other ideas for stuff. <3
This Idiot Guy I used to have a crush on ambushed me while I was struggling to put away the school's copy of 501 French Verbs, though, and kind of lurked up out of nowhere and was like "need help???//?/???" I don't know if he heard my "no," because I pretty much ran out of there to get to Art. I even left Berlin behind I was in such a hurry! D': I dunno why I freaked out like that, but I did, and I feel like a total loser for it. Doesn't help that that Idiot Guy isn't a cool idiot, he's more like a Moron Guy who's way too good at math for someone who does as much pot as he does. /mega eyeroll
Anyway-- despite that, I'm in a really good mood! I feel like I can kick ass if I put my mind to it in school, which is a great feeling. Not to mention, Anduru, Berlin, and even Foamy were intrigued by DMC4, which we all played while we were at Berlin's today. I was so totally a senior to their junior-ness. Plus, I got my Xbox back, and although I haven't put anything in, I'm excited for all the new memory! It's kind of inspiring me to go back and maybe complete the hell out of Prince of Persia, now that I have enough memory to be able to download The Epilogue... mmm...
Oh! Oh! Also! My second Vitamin String Quartet album arrived today: Fallout Boy Tribute ahoy! Not to mention, I drove Foamy home, and I completely savaged her iTunes library, so I have a ton of stuff to listen to! It's amaaaazing!
But, really, the most wonderful thing in the world right now is that one of my good friends from Animazement, who is waaaay too nice to me on dA, has actually asked me to do art for a project of his?! As a commission?! How incredible is that?! Oh, man, I'm so excited! Although, whenever I think of commissions for table-top gaming-- which I think has something to do with his project, I hardly know I'm so keyed up-- I think of Jason Chan doing stuff for WoW and get all nervous and shaky... All I know is that I'm going to be constantly checking my email for the next zillion years in creepy anticipation. XD
So, yeah! School's finally picking up, the weather is wet but not freezing, and I feel really energized! I hope everyone else is having a good week!
