Buy my crap!

Jun 21, 2007 06:36

I got my box of pincushion samples back from the book publisher. Where I had nearly none in hand, now I have MANY. Not kidding. I'm talking over 20. So with the sudden wealth of returned handiwork I've decided to do something that I've been meaning to.

Start up an Etsy store!

If you don't know what etsy is it's a online store, set up much like ebay (but not an auction format) strictly for handmade goods. It's a artsy-crafy haven.

I figured I'm not doing pennsic this year, and I wasn't going to do what i did last year and give 60 bottlecappers away to be silly (I don't think anyone realized how many WEEKS work that was, sure it was fun but...) so I might as well cash in on how popular my stuff has become.

I have a few things up so far, many more will follow shortly.

Feedback on prices happily accepted, I'm not sure where to price them. I figured I should set the price a hair higher than those copying my designs  - so that's where they are.

Being the in the SCA  we tend to share our knowledge and crap, but others usually don't run off and profit off your generosity (won't say it). Well mundanes do, so I think if other people have been making money off my work, maybe I can too!
