It's official! I got my written offer today for the job. I was sorta stressed that something perhaps went wrong, but, woohoo, it's all good.
My start date is August 1st. That's the day I start moving (conveniently enough, I get paid while moving), so really, my actual start-at-work day will be sometime after that.
The pay is the same as was stated in the posting, which rocks, and it's far more than I though I'd make, ever. The offer says I have to start learning Inuktitut, which is neat, I guess. I think I'm beyond my language-learning years, but I'll give it a shot.
Jaime is giving her two weeks notice tomorrow, and I'm handing mine in on friday (my birthday, muahahahha). They might throw me out, which wouldn't be such a bad thing... but they'll likely want me to work towards pulling shit together for a couple of larger commercial jobs they *might* be doing.
