(no subject)
Hehehe... I had my interview for the DCC job this morning. It went really well, and I left with a warm fuzzy feeling inside. I should know by tomorrow at 5pm (who says the government isn't efficient). It was a behavioural interview -- lots of 'name a time when...' questions.
At the end of the interview... it was temporarily awkward as none of the interviewers stuck their hand out for a handshake. There was a whole whack of them, so I just kinda wanted to escape, plus I couldn't remember all their names... so I sorta bailed. I wish I could redo that 15 seconds, but other than that, it went really well. They seemed impressed with my experience, and the job sounded really neat to me. It's a one-year contract, but not as bad as that sounds... everyone in the room was currently working on a one-year contract, and some of them had been there for 20 years.
Anyway, I have my fingers and toes crossed.
