I don't even know where to begin. Today was one of the most fun days so far this year. I actually woke up on time today. The drive up was not too awesome. There was a little bit of traffic, but it didn't matter now that my ipod works in my car. It was cloudy and kind of drizzling on the way up so I had a pretty negative outlook on the day. I met Dan and Bellow at the bottom of the cab. Those two had the biggest smiles on their faces. They were stoked on the new park. All I knew was that there were tree jibs on Kyber. I couldn't wait to ride it. The cbox is back and its going the opposite way now. At first I didn't really like it this way, but as the day went on I changed my mind. Following the cbox was a flat bar and then a little tabletop with a tree stump on the top of it. This ended up being one of my favourite features in the stunt park. After that was a quarter pipe with a log coping. That was fun until my edge caught a nub when I tried to lipslide it, hehe. Oh! The wide flat box is back! Fuck! I love that thing. Then its the 40 foot handrail in a new spot. So after a few runs through there, Keith joined us and soon after Libby and Katey. Then out of nowhere, Tommy. Apparently I talked to Tommy at 2am and said I would meet him up there. I have absolutely no recollection of this conversation taking place. I called bullshit, but then checked my phone and sure enough, there it was. Man, what the fuck? We should have driven up together, haha. Oh well. So we were all trying new tricks today and progressing. I haven't progressed in years, so this was nice. I slammed a bunch of times, but Bellow had Advil in his pocket. I think they were really ecstacy though. I was skeptical about taking them, but my head hurt so I swallowed 2 of them. I rode the seven today and at first I was regretting it, but that was because I was not used to it. I have figured out the secret of the battleship and my knees were thanking me today. I actually enjoy hitting it now, go figure. Tommy on the other hand, he would come flying down the trail and hit the ramp for the flat handrail and launch the 40 feet to the landing area. It was hilarious. He grabbed method while he performed this stunt. Man, what a joker. Dan departed because he had to go to work. This kid Derick that Libby and Katey knew joined us. He was a cool kid. I saw AJ on the sugar slope. He was wearing his new outfit and he looked dapper. He was teaching his friend Remy how to snowboard. AJ is such a good dude. I said whatup whenever I came down sugar slope and saw him. Later on in the day we saw Adam hiking the wide box with his instructor friends. He took a few runs with us. We started to get over it and decided to call it a day around 4. As I was taking my boots off at my car it started to pour. Like, terrential downpour. It was wild. We picked a good time to pack it in, I'd say. Katey took a bunch of pictures that I will be adding within the next day or so.
