It's good to meet you, Sheriff Forbes. My name is Alexis. I'm not sure how much help I can be, but I've done a little work in a police station, working with files and such, and my father is a consultant for the NYPD. I'd be happy to help if you find a place for such a force here. There's a couple groups that I know of, but they're not enforcement so much as protection when things go a little haywire. Problem is, there's no real laws here.

Protection might be the better option, or a set of small rules mostly designed towards protection of the masses. Don't incite panic, don't harm your fellow citizens, and the like.

I think you might be right. Trying to enforce anything more here might be an exercise in futility.

There are too many different sets of laws and not enough people to choose fairly and enforce them properly. That's our problem.

Then I'd like to meet with you sometime. Anything you know already would be useful.
