(no subject)
My mother woke me up this morning saying my phone was ringing... I had completely forgotten that I had plans earlier in the day. So I rushed to shower and get ready. It didn't help that my mother was completely rude to me and wouldn't even give me enough money for dinner. (Which caused problems later, we spent like 30 minutes trying to figure out how to pay. Thanks mom.)
So Chelsea, Clint, and I went to go see Pirates 3. I didn't really like it, but it didn't help that I barely remembered anything of Pirates 2. And I couldn't hear half of the dialogue -- either the music was too loud/overpowering, or their accents too thick. The ending sucked too. Also, Norrington? Fail. Seriously. What a waste of a good character. Pirates suffered the same way the Matrix did. What a shame. Better yet, shame on the people who actually thought 2 and 3 were good continuations.
After that we ate dinner, then roamed the mall. We stopped into some toy store, and I began by looking for Power Rangers toys (to humor myself) when I stumbled upon a collection of imported stuff. It started with me noticing the Revoltech Evangelions. Then the FF Master Series. Then Mario soundblocks. And then? Then I found Toynami's 20th Anniversary Masterpiece Collection Voltron. $150, and according to that site, it's limited to 15k pieces. Which is just... wow. And one of them, in my area? In Texas? I told Chelsea that if we didn't leave right there I was seriously going to rob the store. I was dead serious. So, we left, and Chelsea and Clint were talking about how they could get that for me for my birthday, thinking all of our friends could chip in. I want to believe them but I only see 3 things happening: a) they forget about it [most likely], b) it'll be gone by then, or c) no one will want to chip in so much money for me.
So... :( I was kinda sad after that.
I almost felt like a third wheel. Social outings are so difficult for me.
My mother wanted my room completely cleared out today but I didn't have time since I had to get ready to go. I'll probably have to work on that tomorrow. I'm going to attempt to put it off as long as possible because I'm lazy.
I watched Ocean's Twelve last night. Not as good as Eleven, to be sure, but still very entertaining. I still wanna see Ocean's Thirteen. In fact, POTC3 was a waste of money. I should've seen Ocean's Thirteen after all.
Tomorrow, I will start my Photojournal 2007 for Nintendorks. I'm hoping it'll only be part one, though, as I'd prefer to do another photojournal with something more exciting. But anyway, tomorrow afternoon, Jess is coming to sleepover. That evening, Andrew and Leah will join us with Mario Party 8. 8D And that night I imagine Jess and I will stay up watching some shows.
Tonight I will knock off 8 - 10 of Sexy Voice and Robo.
Seriously, TV-Nihon, give me more Mebius. >(
