(no subject)
Took a trip to the nearby Borders today, and picked myself up .hack//XXXX 1 and .hack//G.U.+ 2. I eyed the Battle Royale manga series (they had them individually, from 1 - 15, but they also had rather large compilations) and the Neon Genesis Evangelion manga (which I'd just love to pick up one day - at the end of it all, I'm still an Eva fan) longingly, but I restricted myself in order to save money for Mebi DVDs. The best part about traveling is stopping at the bookstores - they all have such different selections. Last year I discovered Sexy Voice and Robo and this year I found Dororo!
Of course, the front of the store had a whole vampire-themed display, with a number of shelves dedicated to the monstrosity that is Breaking Dawn. A sign also told me that a new Bourne novel is coming out! Which led to the discovery that there are, in fact, more than 3 Bourne novels! I've got my eye on them for my holiday wishlist, as I do have a softspot for spy/agent stories (see: Bond, Splinter Cell).
Also this is easily the best thing I've seen all day. Look how friendly they are. (Uhm, maybe too friendly! Back off, he's mine *shakes fist*) I'm sure they'll add more of these kinds of videos with the rest of the Kyoudai - I can't wait.
It looks like they celebrated Shunji's birthday early, too. I kind of forgot it was August already! Wish I could do something for Shunji, but alas.
So, I return home tomorrow evening... where I'll finally be able to completely catch up with everyone's entries, and my torrents (TV-Nihon does love to release things when I'm away, don't they?). I'm most excited about my new keyboard, though!! What kind of a sad person daydreams about keyboards...
