(no subject)
I am proud to be updating my livejournal from Texas once again. Despite having been awake for over 24 hours now, it feels as if my days are split. The time spent in Hawaii feels so very long ago.
As a 'souvenir' my mother allowed me to get a shirt that says 'abunai.' Bwuahha. That makes me feel so very wapanese, but the shirt just cracks me up for some reason.
The plane flight was a disaster. I hated every second of it. (Though I did draw a rather good picture...) I was sitting in the middle row, aisle seat, which means I had no where at all to lay my head. My mother stole my nice window seat because she wanted to sit next to Jon. Well fine, be selfish!
So I didn't sleep, at all. I killed time by drawing in the dark (fun times), watching the first hour of Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy on my iPod, and the Ask a Ninja podcasts. Then I sat there for the last hour and a half trying desperately to sleep. Somehow. Any way at all. My neck was aching by the time we finally landed around 5am CST.
I am so happy to see my kitties again. Maya was really scared at first, I had to win her trust back by giving her treats. Poor kitty, I hope she didn't think I abandoned her. But now it's s'all good. Ginger is back on the foot my bed, Blizzard is underneath my bedside table, and Maya is all over the freakin' place. <3
Then I had to go register for summer school. My PE class starts on Monday. This Monday. I'm terrified. The registration place had a tentative schedule. It's not much of a PE class so much as it is an outdoor activity class. Seriously. Kayaking. IN DALLAS. I had enough of that in Hawaii thank you very much.
But damn I'm scared.
However, only 3 weeks. Just gotta keep reminding myself. 3 weeks. 15 days. I can do it.
.............then speech. ;-;
For now, I'm catching up on all my subs. Lots of subs. It seems that TV-Nihon's tracker has conveniently died, so I can't get a hold of Sexy Voice and Robo 8. I'm also trying to track down the raw of the Devil May Cry anime. Need to remember the address for the tracker with pretty much everything on it.
