I finally feel confident about my animation. Chibi is modeled and rigged, and I caught a glimpse of my partner's models and they look really good. Funny enough, the room she modeled is ominously close to the living room in the Chibi-Robo game.
Size comparison, before the rigging so he's still in his T-pose. Say hello to my excellent contemporary table. Don't have any real lighting in this.
O.O I haven't done any work for the past week and a half, true story. When bored, I render weird angles to make it look like I'm working. No lighting.
Do want! After the rigging was all sorted out. Luckily enough, because he's a robot, I didn't have to go through the hassle of giving him a skeleton and IK handles, or binding the skin. I just get to rotate the joints. ^o^/ Proper lighting in this one.
Doesn't look very metallic, but I can't find a better texture. In the very least, he's very reflective when ray trace shadows are turned on.
