Happy Thanksgiving to all my American friends, and a just as happy Thursday to everyone else. :D ♥
In an effort to not make this entry too long and too sappy, I'll do my best not to ramble on~
I am incredibly thankful for all the people I've been able to meet online, even those I creepily follow but never comment on. (Shy, you see.) Everyone is amazing right down to the very words they type, and I get such a feeling of joy knowing I've found a special batch of people. I could name names, but then I'd be here all day.
Just know that you guys mean the world to me, even if you have no clue who I am or why in the world I friended you. ♥
And, of course, my friends I see almost every day. It's one thing to tolerate me on the internet but in person, it's a whole 'nother experience. I owe a big thank you to Chelsea for not only befriending me when no one else would, but for sticking with me and trusting me. And Jess, my lovely wife, and her amazing friends Gabysu and Baki, Britt, and all those who don't read my journal, I love you dearly (even if we don't talk much). Our breed of awesome is hard to come by so I can't even begin to express how much I value you guys. ♥
When it comes to just myself... I'm thankful for my cats. Tokusatsu means a lot to me, videogames have been with me since day one, and my computer has helped me reach a whole new world, but my cats are easily the best things to happen to me and I'm obligated to express this in words they'll never see, let alone be able to comprehend. Much love to you, Ginger, Blizzard, Maya. ♥♥
Naturally, I must mention the rest of my family. I whine about my mother a load (and ugh, sometimes it really is justified), but I love her no matter what and I'd be lost without her. Wherever my father is, whatever he's doing, I hope he's happy. I was a shitty daughter, but in the end I loved him, and I hope now he knows that. I miss you, dad, and am thankful for all you gave me. And Philip, my amazing brother, who has survived through more than I'll probably face my whole life. I've admired him from the beginning, he's to blame for my love for computers and videogames, and I'm so proud of him. I hope one day to gather the courage to tell him just how much he means to me.
Ahhh... Philip is coming to pick us up and take us to my Uncle's. I get to ride in his new car~! I'm so excited for him. Everyone is going to be all over him and his recovery story. Heheh.
...and my mother is gonna hijack the events to celebrate my birthday there... I'm going to be so embarrassed.
