(no subject)
Yesterday was fun. We ended up going over to our Canadian friend's house for dinner. And it was an excellent dinner. After that we went over to Karen's house after all to watch the Gleneagles fireworks, which have quite the large reputation. That was pretty cool. Then we got a tour around the house, and I got to see Philip's workstation/side of the room, his sleeping quarters, and the Guitar Hero Room. (Yes, that's its official name now.)
Philip had an old picture of our father by his desktop. Looking at it ruined my mood. I still don't know how to react. Sometimes I feel like grieving, others I don't care...
I gave an impromptu speech today about friends. I thought it was sweet and went well, but I probably didn't hit the 1 minute mark. Ah well. I love friends. :]

WHY YES, I have seen this about 4 times now. Watched it last night with the speed softsubs. I believe I've spotted Shunji in every scene he's possibly in. I suppose that'll be my mission for every episode: Where in the Scene is Igarashi Shunji!? [/pathetic joke]
I seriously don't like Oguri Shun as Sano. Please grow on me, Shun. Srsly. I want to like you.
Can't wait for episode 2. Despite having read bits and pieces of the manga and having seen the tw Hana Kimi, I'm completely enthralled by the j ver. :x

Oh man about time this was subbed. Ridiculous. 3 is already out! Ugh.
The episode was great, however. I love the OP and ED a lot. Lady, however, is a little too masculine looking for me. Meh. Anyway, bikers. The title cracks me up. Highway Star. It feels so... I dunno, 80s? 90s?
I anxiously await ep 3. Some semblance of an over-arcing plot should be showing up soon.

Even raw, this show is actually kinda fun. I really don't care about 90% of the D-boys but it's amusing regardless. I think they seriously had to go through all these trials while filming, otherwise they wouldn't be crying at the end. Poor guys.
So, I learned that Shunji is in Watashitachi no Kyoukashou. How did I miss that? I dunno. Either way, the drama has severely jumped in priority and I will be downloading it within the next day or so.
