So much for next day or two, huh.
I'll try to keep this brief because I feel I border on rambling sometimes. Anyway, though most people probably don't recall, I applied to four universities, only two I was serious about (UNT and SMU), one of which I was actually planning to attend (UNT). That makes things nice and simple.
So when SMU (prestigious private university, blah blah) drops $50k in my lap, I essentially had to do a 180 and close the door in UNT's face. Which is great, because an education from SMU is wonderful and they have a grad program for animation, so I'll be graduating in 2015 with my BFA and MA (or, MIT, I think they called it?).
tl;dr: huge freaking scholarship
Uhm, what else? I'm finally getting my driver's license, after my permit has now reached the ripe old age of 1 year. I was going to get it today but they wouldn't take my paperwork because one date was missing. (That's a rant I'm not going into.) So it'll probably be next week, since I'm tired of leaving school early (x-rays and physical therapy oh boy).
Prom is coming up, too, and I'm going to attend simply because I'm a senior and feel obligated to experience that part of high school. Going to try to make it as personal as possible, though, since homecoming was a mini-trainwreck. I am so past school drama, it's not worth it.
Hmm, I suppose that's it. I really have only minor things to complain about, which I think that means things are going quite well.
