Not that you can do too much of activities in Glenwood Hot Springs itself, beside swimming, soaking, or anything else that is spa-related. Of course you can check out the town, which is pretty neat. Or do hiking, white water rafting. Winter time should be better - simply because of all the near-by ski places: Aspen, Breckenridge, or Copper Mountain, for example. This is, if fact what we are planning to do this winter.

Time to drive from Denver: about 2Hrs
From Colorado Springs: about 3Hr. This is probably also time to drive from DIA via I-470(partially toll) to I-70
