Thanks!!! I thought I'd try to turn the tables a bit. And I'm so thrilled that LJ has introduced me to people who can use the word "whingey" and I know what it means.

If you're old enough to know it, this whole fic was inspired by me listening to "Darling Nikki" by Prince.

Something I really enjoy about your fic is that your guys come off as guys. Case in point: "The whole 'locking' thing in the bathroom was a necessity, due to one of them consistently coming in to flush the toilet while the other was taking a shower, just to be an asshole." Yeah. Those are guys all right. So funny and pitch-perfect.

I laughed at "What the fuck is eye-raping, you sick pervert?" Dean, honey, come on over to the Sherlock fandom. We'll give you a full tutorial, complete with gifs. Oh, right, you've got your brother to demonstrate. Never mind.

Plus, how wonderful is your cage fight between Sam's prefrontal cortex and his limbic system? Fantastic.

The final reveal was hilarious and unexpected. Not my usual fandom, but this is great stuff.

Thanks so very much for the thoughtful comments, I am really glad you enjoyed the story. This was one of my very early fics, but one of the things I enjoy writing in SPN fandom (and Angel fandom, which I still write for pretty frequently) is the back and forth, the banter between two people who know each other so intimately outside of their sexual relationships.

Yeah, and your love of banter shows. Their dialogue here was smart and knowing and guy-ish and hot. One-liners like these are a joy.
