Just saying hi
I was at my grandmother's last week, there was, of course, no wifi. Got home Saturday night & a tree had fallen in my yard, knocking out the power and cable. It must have been days because I literally had to throw away everything in my fridge & freezer because it was rotten.
Power company had s truck & a crew at my house 45 minutes after I called, on a Saturday night. Comcast still has not fixed my Internet. I've had more than a dozen angry phone calls, which resulted in me getting a credit for this month's bill and half price service for the next 6 months.
I wanted to check in, even though posting from my phone is a pain in the ass.
RL has kicked the shit out of me all week. Very glad I learned better coping skills better than when I looked for every answer at the bottom of a bottle or the end of a row of shot glasses. It's a nice feeling, to not even consider the possibility of getting drunk.
Still, I am slowly but surely working on Sastiel since I had to drop out of DCBB. I just keep hoping I will get a minute to catch my breath and calm down.
