I feel like Sam would have a hard time choosing between his father's instructions and his gut feelings. But I do think he'd do the right thing, and figure out a way to get it done without risking any undue attention.

"Stupid Cold Town, Michigan." LOL, LOL. I loved this. I could hear John playing his card with Sam, especially the trump. Separation from his brother. I love how Sam handled the situation too. Matter of factly, competently and with no violence.

Sam has a right to walk taller, he did the right thing! John might have acted in a way he felt was best for his boys, but he had no right to play any card against Sam. Great fic, loved it!
