She couldn’t believe that something so wonderful could happen to her.
There were times when she thought she’d never know what it was to love like this. It had never crossed her mind that someone else would love her like that. So much that they wanted to marry her.
Finally, Dawn gathered her courage and traveled, alone, to Los Angeles. To Spike.
He scooped her up in his arms and asked, “What’s the occasion, Bit?”
When she showed him the diamond band around her left ring finger, the protective and soft look in his expression was everything she hoped for.
