4/ IIIIIIIT'S A SMALL WORLD AAAAAAFTER ALL folkloristlore December 31 2010, 00:20:27 UTC
Appearance: Bennett is a skinny, gangly sort of guy with a bit of scruff and a shock of thick, dark brown hair that never quite lays flat. He stands about 6'2", but keeps his head low so often that people tend to forget his normal height. If he actually makes eye contact with you, it's very easy to notice his bright brown eyes. He tends to get scruffier the closer he gets to a transformation.

Ben's a fan of button-down shirts and sweater vests and all around generally neat-looking clothes. He dresses like a stereotypical English professor all the time-- nice leather shoes, corduroy or khaki pants and a blazer. Beyond that, he doesn't have much of a sense of fashion. He dresses like an old man all the time.

Since Bennett is a werewolf, his wolf form is a larger-than-average Grey Wolf with more brown fur than grey. His tail is a bit shorter than normal, and he has those same, bright brown eyes.

His PB is Jay Baruchel.

Skills/Abilities: Once a month, Bennett turns into a werewolf! Hooray! To undergo this process, the lycanthropy virus has given him a few little extra things, especially the closer he gets to the change (generally the week before and after the transformation), his senses are MUCH more powerful. His sense of smell is ridiculously improved, his eyesight (for which he normally wears glasses) is bumped up to normal, human 20/20 vision-- he's much more sensitive to sounds and touch, and has a much higher pain tolerance. Which is good, considering his transformation involves every bone in his body breaking. Speaking of that-- he also is able to heal much faster within a few hours of a transformation, but this ability is almost non-existent for the rest of the month. This helps him heal wounds he sustained as a wolf and... allows his bones to properly rearrange themselves and heal all the way through after their multiple fractures.

On top of that, Ben's a decent cook, a brilliant writer and smart as a whip when it comes to literature, fairy tales and things of the like. He can also, sort of, barely play the guitar. He wishes he'd learned the violin. :|

He also retains the ability to be painfully Canadian.

Spoken/Written languages: English, Canadian French and Traditional French. He'll wander into Canadian French when he gets sort of absent-minded or is trying to be cute/funny/what have you. However, in a conversation, he always starts out in Standard French and lapses back into Canadian French once he gets comfortable. He used to speak Standard French FAR more frequently, but he's since stopped his frequent communication with the professors he'd been working with.

Items: Bennett appears at Vertiline wearing his pajamas that he hasn't changed out of in almost four days at this point-- he's got a pack of cigarettes in one pocket and a bottle of vicuprofrin in the other, and a toothbrush hanging out of his mouth. He really was about to get in a shower, seriously! He'd already taken his glasses off and everything, so he doesn't have those.
