Artichoke Pods

Each Called is assigned an Artichoke Pod just at border of the Temple grounds where the Kirivan Jungles begin. These habitats, which can be found in clusters of 5-7, remain free for your character's use while they are in Vertiline.

The outside door handle of the Artichoke locks automatically, and will only open at the touch of the Called's communicator to the lock. At this point in time, door locks can not be programmed to allow access to any other person except for Temple personnel.

Each Pod has been equipped with a sleek Rotor Room made of steel and decorated with Victorian cut-outs of copper and brass. To the right of the opening, Called will find two buttons: one pointing to the left, and one pointing to the right. Pressing these buttons will activate the Rotor Room's steam mechanism in the Pod and rotate the inner chamber to reveal either the bed, bath, or closet.

Each Pod also has a small bathroom, a fire-pit to warm the room, and of course, a table, chairs, couch, and small coffee table.

Opposite the main entrance is a secure stable-style door that opens onto a small deck. This door also only opens from the inside or when unlocked by the Called's communicator.

While the outsides of Called lodgings may change from location to location, the inside remains the same. Below is a helpful diagram showing the layout of the large rooms and all they include.
