If there was ever a piece of history that I would like people to forget, it's that a man named Dan White murdered the first gay mayor of San Francisco. Unfortunately for me, the fact that it was a career-motivated killing, and not a hate-motivated one has been lost to history.
Fortunately for the latter, and unfortunately for the former, Gus Van Sant, Josh Brolin, and Sean Penn are bringing the story to the screen quite soon. So there it is. Dan White and how he killed Harvey Milk.
