I'm usually very good at spotting actors in their various guises and stages of development, and am often pleasantly surprised (but never gobsmacked) to see somebody in some role that very few people knew about.
Case in point: the other night, I noticed that Billy Zane was one of Biff's gang in Back to the Future.
So how in the world did I not realize that Josh Brolin, AKA Doc Block from Planet Terror, was one of the kids from Goonies? Usually, people (idiots) are surprised to notice Sam Gamgee among that cast, but not me.
How could this happen?
